* Metafora creatiei

* Metafora creatiei

The Vedas compare creation to a spider's web, that the spider creates and then lies within. God is both the container of the universe and what is contained in it.

* Valoarea selfului

The ego and the Self dwell as intimate friends in the same body, like two golden birds perched in the same tree. The ego eats the sweet and sour fruits of the tree, while the Self looks on detached. For as long as you identify with the ego, you will feel joy and sorrow. But if you know you are the Self, the Lord of Life, you will be free from suffering; the supreme source of light; the supreme source of love. You will transcend duality and live in a state of Oneness.
                                    -Mundaka Upanishad

* Religia

Religions are different roads converging on the same point. What does it matter that we take different roads so long as we reach the same goal? I believe that all religions of the world are true more or less. I say "more or less" because I believe that everything the human hand touches, by reason of the very fact that human beings are imperfect, becomes imperfect.

* Efectele iubirii
"The spiritual meaning of love is measured by what it can do. Love is
meant to heal. Love is meant to renew. Love is meant to bring us
closer to God.

 * Refulare

When all the desires that surge in the heart
Are renounced, the mortal becomes
Immortal.
When all the knots that strangle the heart
Are loosened, the mortal becomes immortal,
Here in this very life.

                                           -Brihadaranyaka Upanishad

* Prin renuntare

Once Luqman was asked how he had attained such merit. He replied, "By adhering to virtue, by fulfilling all pledges, and by giving up futile apprehensions.

* Activitatea ta e sfinta
Your daily life is your temple and your religion.
